Family owned tea room in the heart of Lincoln

We are a family owned tearoom that is run with an enthusiastic and passionate team headed by owner Scott Eversfield, who has over 35 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, mainly at a senior level. We are situated in the heart of the Bailgate area of Lincoln, just a stone’s throw away from the cathedral and castle. Our outside area has views of the castle walls and a glorious sunny aspect most of the day.

Our food offering includes a mixture of traditional and contemporary dishes with some timeless classics. Why not start your day with a cooked healthier style breakfast or a freshly made panini or toastie and for those fancying something lighter try one of our salads of the day or jacket potato with your favourite filling? All our meat, vegetables and bread are locally sourced where we can so we support local producers. Our sausages and sausage meat comes from Odlings family butchers, who have used Porters farm Navenby for their meat. All our vegetables come from Fresh from the Fields greengrocer in St Pauls Lane (less than 200 metres from the tearoom) and our bread comes from local bakeries, where possible.

All our coffee comes from Stokes in the Lawn, Lincoln where it is freshly roasted and supplied in eco friendly reusable tubs. Our speciality teas are all single estate Birchall teas, so have a more refined flavour and colour, whilst our English breakfast tea is a rainforest alliance certified blend that offers a good depth of flavour without being too overpowering. We also sell a selection of Belvioir fruit farms presse drinks in bottles or a more traditional Coca Cola or Diet Coke.
